I participate in thoughtful discussion of issues on internet boards. My personal problems, or lack thereof, is irrelevant.

Interesting that #20 "4 inches of snow isn't a blizzard, its a flurry."

Uhh...Okay, are we talking about a different southern Illinois? 2 inches is a BIG snowstorm in southern Illinois. The schools and banks shut down, the salt trucks are out 2 days solid, and everyone is driving 3 miles an hour or not getting out of the house.

I love when people append an "LOL" to the end of their statement to try to hide the fact that it made no sense

^ I mean, I realize it's just a list, but at least if the list is trying to show some "we're down home country boys out here" attitude, at least use factual information.

I like:

The climate

Cheap green fees

The Ohio and Mississipi Rivers

Being able to watch Cardinals games on basic cable, without turning my house into a space station.

The KFC buffet in Harrisburg (bigger, better, and cheaper than any KFC buffet anywhere else)

$600 property taxes

No waiting in line most places

I-24, I-57, and I-64
