Thanks for the info. Ill add Geja's to my 45-page-long list of restaurants I want to try out.

Meson sabika has a website (with their prices on it). mesonsabika.com I like their tapas cause it is fun (and good). The paella is good. Deserts good too. They are big on sherries and ports there if you drink. The Sangria tastes so fruity... but watch out, it is strong. Not particularly upscale, but I wouldn't go in ripped jeans and gymshoes. It used to be an old mansion I believe.

My favorite gourmet restaraunt in Illinois is The Signature Club, on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building in downtown Chicago, but, man, was the bill expensive. $286 for me and my wife.

Another restaraunt I love in Chicago is "Mia Francesca's" or Francesca's, it is Italian cuisine, and located on Clark I believe.

I really like Beef-A-Roo in Rockford, as well. Steak and Shake as well.

Joe's - It's in the most touristy place on Earth, is really expensive and probably a bit pretentious, but i swear to God it's the best meal I ever had...

Pizza wise- I like Alfano's in Oregon and Rochelle. If anyone ever travels through Oregon, I would highly recommend a stop at Alfano's near Mix Park and 4th Street.

I know it's cliche' but I have to go with Giordano's Pizza...prefer the N. Rush St. location, near Water Tower Place, but the Oak Brook one isn't bad.

It's a tie for me.....The Finn Inn in Grafton when I have a hankering for great buffalo and Moonlight in Godfrey for THE best fried chicken I've ever had. .

Springfield: either D'Arcy's Pint (for the oh-so-fattening horshoe), Bentoh's, or Sebastian's.

It's a hard choice.
