Speaking of which, do those of you who followed the local punk scene in the 90s remember Sludgeworth? They sort of fractured off of Screaching Weasel. And kicked their asses IMO.

I was also a big fan of NIL8, out of Springfield from the early to mid-90's...

NIL8 is still around and still playing gigs throughout central IL and occasionally up here in Chicago.

Glad to hear it - I remember they played a few gigs in Chicago while I still lived there (I left in late 2002). I just meant that I had stopped following them regularly in the mid-90's, when I left the area to go to graduate school.
