Default Classic Car

I have an old car that I am trying to sell. It's a classic car, but does not run well and has some rust. Does anyone know where/how I could sell this car? ...or are there people who just buy old cars for their parts?
Thanks!

Do you mean "classic" as in "would be a collector car if it were in good shape" or "classic" as in just plain old? If it's the former, put it on eBay but be honest about its condition. If it's the latter, with the way scrap metal prices are these days, you may be best off selling it to a scrapyard.

Classic meaning a 1977 Chevy. Overall, it's in okay shape- the interior is very nice, but the outside has some rust (which I guess you'd expect considering it has gone through many winters in Chicago). We also cant get it to start- we know nothing about cars, so dont know what's wrong right now.

I don't think a 1977 chevy is worth much. Those were kind of dark years for american cars. But you may want to contact the local chevy club. They have all kinds of info on that.
