i was curious about the jewish population in illinois, particularly in southern illinois. thanks.

I dont know about Southern Illinois, but there are many on the "North Shore" of Chicago as well as in the burbs next to it. Many are also in Rogers Park, West Ridge,Lake View, Lincoln Park ,and Gold Coast in Chicago.

Illinois has the 5th largest Jewish population of the 50 states, but almost all of it is centralized in the Chicago area.
The state has roughly 300,000 Jewish people. |
