Yeah, me too and the big hurdle is the pets issue. This particular market has long-time landord families who own and rent out numerous properties each. They have naturally formed a tight little community. Tight enough to create their own "urban legends." Currently: dogs have a certain dander that once its in a house its stays in the house forever and people who are allergic (50%?) will NEVER rent the property!
