We haven't signed our boys up for anything yet. We have played a lot of disc golf at the park. I do want to take them to the new pool. They have yet to experience anything besides our small inflatable pools that always pop. We are going to take them to a Chicago beach this weekend, weather permitting. I also took them to the summercampfestival at three sisters park. They had a lot of fun there. I'm really nervous about my son starting kindergarten this fall. He does not want to go! He has never been in daycare. That is another reason we have not signed him up for anything. I don't think he is a team player yet.

Now's the perfect time to get your boy used to playing with others & socializing. It really will help with kindy. & don't be nervous, you're gonna LOVE the free time! LOL & I bet he'll fare better than you'd realize.
If you'd like to meet up at the park or something, let me know! I know our son would love to have a friend, 'specially one that's going to go to the same school.

Downtown Peoria has the best around. Lot of traffic though. The last few times we chose the East Peoria side.

When we were coming back from Peoria we noticed the cars leaving Chillicothe, and it took us 45 minutes to get out of East Peoria!
