It think Chicago60614's point was that it shouldn't matter, but it probably does to the OP who doesn't have any problem with blacks... you know as long as they don't do something heinous like marry into her family.

My husbands sister married into a black family and that caused family concern.

I was brought up to stay with my own kind.

I don't have a problem with a few but with many who move in, their dirty and let their children run wild and destroy the nighborhood.

Same goes for hispanics too.

You don't find white neighborhoods that are trashed, only those that are poor like some of the towns in New jersey.

Another problem i have with moving to Illinois is all the [mod cut]moving in that state, their more illegals in the public schools than can be counted.

But my husbands sister would fit in well in Illinois cuz what she married into would be excepted in that state.

Im sorry but Illinois puts its blacks on pedistals and we don't.

I got a PM from someone on here regarding my comments toward people of different gender.

I can see there is a group effort protecting those of different race here so ive decided to pull out of the idea of moving to ILl.

Im very content with staying in NY and believe me, people in my town are very content with who they let move in so im staying where im at.

Ive checked all over the place and it seems that people are in favor of anyone moving in their city or town no matter what they are, so im going to stay where im at.

I live in a trailer park and most of the people i know are old and set in their ways when i comes to minorities, so im not wurried.

I've lived in Illinois now for over 15 years. And I'm SHOCKED there's still racist people like the one that posted this post. If you don't want to be around minorities, then I suggest that you continue to live in your trailor park and don't move to Illinois. As a realtor, I treat all of my clients equally. It doesn't matter your ethnicity what so ever! Not only is it against to the law to work with people like foxywoman, I have to do my job as a realtor and document the incident for future litigations. We have laws in Illinois for discrimination and if you move here, be prepared for the consequences of your racist attitude.
