Does anyone know how to get a birth Certificate suitable for legal ID's from the county seat of Clay County, Il., tThe town is Louisville, Il.. I have been searching for a telephone number or any contact iformation, but can't find any.

A few years ago had need for Birth Certificate. I ordered it On line from the State Capitol in Springfield, Illinois. It came in a couple of weeks with no hassle.

I have obtained all of the birth certificates that I've requested from the Illinois Department of Public Health located in Springfield. They hold birth, death, adoption, and marriage records. Best of luck to you.
