I am hoping someone can help me... I distinctly remember a bar in the 70's called Stonehenge. It would have been somewhere around Cahokia or the Belleville area. (I think). I was a child. I don't remember alot of details. Lol. Any help is appreciated.

Stonehenge was located in Belleville, Maybe along Douglas ave. I think it was a Grain
Elevator at one time. It was a popular hangout for the younger crowd. I was never there remember my Step daughter talking about it in the 70's. I think they tore it down to make way for metro Link. |

Ha! YES I remember Stonehenge. Good Lord. That's a blast from the past. I went to McKendree (class of '87) and we spent many a party night at Stonehenge.
How about Granny's Rocker in Edwardsville - remember that one? And of course Ron's Lounge in Lebanon, our favorite hangout. For a while in the '80s, no matter what buttons you pressed, the jukebox would play either Whip It or Sea Cruise. Ha! |
