cdesz is off base. Wisconsin is for long weekends, whereas Chicago is for living. The seasons change in Chicago. In fact, we get longer summers and winters that are not quite as cold. Too boot, Chicago has everything Wisconsin has, and more. Like sports? Chicago has a team in every professional sports league. Like food? Chicago's variety can't be touched by anywhere in Wisconsin. Like to fly anywhere? O'Hare airport is the central hub, so flights go non-stop to many more places. Museums? We have hundreds that are some of the best in the country. The list goes on and on.
