Default Child Care in North Eastern Illinois

I am a Child Development Home Provider In SE Iowa. Our Family is relocating to Northern Illinois. Being from A small town, I know I would not feel comfortable living in a larger community. Can anyone give me any ideas as to where we should look, when chosing a place to move to. I need a place where there is a need and desire for quality child care but the clients can also afford to pay for it. My family counts on my income also. There are so many places there, I have no idea where to begin to look.

How small a town would you like? How much would you want to spend? There is an "sweet spot" where people really appreciate quality childcare , go lower and they can't afford it, while in really high income areas the majority of households are single earner.
