I thank GOD that 42% (if that's the number) of IL residents chose to live in Chicago.I can drive the 10 miles to work on backroads and from the time I leave my house till I get to work I pass less than 50 houses and if I go in around 4 am or if I end up going back down there after 7 pm,chances are I will not meet a single car.So if you think Chicago "trumps" the rest of the state and you are happy there then by all means keep thinking that and stay where you are. I just wish the thousands of Chicagoans that have moved here over the years felt the same as you do and would go back.The rest of us will just gladly "suffer"
with being second class to Chicagoland.
