Havasu, shame on you for discouraging someone who wants to earn a living.
and for providing false information.
Pros and Cons are everywhere, heck income taxes in Canada are greater in Canada then in any US state.

Homie, start with the following site:
State of Illinois Business Portal

Are you in USA? or do you plan to move soon and start some business at the same time?

Shame on Me? No!! Shame on the State of Illinois. Its one the highest Taxed States in the Entire USA. Im not against anybody wanting to start up a business all I want them to do is succeed and your chances diminish if you are Taxed highly.Less Taxes = More money in my wallet which means better for the Economy I get to spend it not the Government.. More Taxes= Less money for my wallet and more for the Government to spend and waste.I am a business owner based in Arizona and I have the choice to have it anywhere in the USA. I choose Arizona due to the very low Tax Rate here. You are right about Pros and Cons everywhere.
Illinois is very poorly managed by its government compared to other States.
Simple as that

If that was/is the case, you should have shared your knowledge as a complement to answering the question. and not by just throwing a vague statement which has nothing to do with the question.
