The only other IL metro area that attracts a relatively consistent stream of traffic here is Rockford. I've already suggested a separate Rockford forum twice and my suggestion was rejected both times. Everything else is sporadic at best. A Carbondale sub-forum would be virtually empty.

Breaking the forum down to geographical regions also seems kind of pointless. People looking for information on random small towns won't have any idea which section to post their inquiry in, and also won't really care...

VETERAN POSTER: "Sorry, this is the central region forum -- try posting in the southeast region forum."
