Shouldn't there be more forums on IL? (Chicago, Naperville: best suburbs, home)

I am from East Central Illinois, actually moving to NC at the end of the month but I have noticed that there is only "Chicago" and "Chicago Suburb" forums on this. That is one thing I hate about Illinois, its either Chicago or nothing but there is a lot more to ILL than Chicago.

For example, Champaign/Urbana and UofI. An extremely diverse community with people from all across the globe. Areas include Mahomet, Tolono, Monticello (Allerton Park), and Tuscola which are all great communities.

Carbondale has lots of possibilities for camping hiking and other types of outdoor activities.

Springfield is the capitol and home of ol Abe Lincoln, lots of history.

I am just sick and tired of having a major city and all of the people from that major city always thinking they are better and more important than us form smaller so called less important communities.

The reasons for not having more sub-forums have been discussed many times.

Instead of makng assumptions maybe you need to search the forum first.

* Bloomington-Normal Worshippers Forum for you-know-who

Now I agree that those need to be added.

You forgot:

*Evanston and Oak Park are the best suburbs ever created by god and the only Chicago burbs worth living in Forum
*All things gentrified and everything else is it just crap Forum
*Romeoville and Elgin suck therefore the entire state of Illinois and the Midwest sucks Forum

and last but not least

*I do not know how to google anything or do a search on the net so I will ask a question on citi-data about every bit of information I am too lazy too try to look up myself Forum

You have been reading too many posts from the New Trier poster.

I'm waiting for more threads about these cities before creating new sub-forums. With the continuing growth of our forums I can see adding them in the future.

There simply isn't enough population down here to have enough posters to make it worthwhile. The last meaningful discussion concerning far southern IL, was about 3 months ago I think.
