The red car that has three wheels, not sure what it is called, is driven by a guy who dresses up as Darth Vader for the 4th of July and drives the car in the parade. All the kids know him and look for him at the car show. Great photos.
Oh yeah, the shaggin' wagon is always a hit with several people who used to be in the van scene.

The 3 wheeled contraption is called a T-Rex. I actually have a picture of it on one of the last few pages on my Suburban Photos thread.

Do you work in St. Charles or something? I've noticed about 80% of your pictures are taken there.

Yes I do. The 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th pics were taken in West Chicago though, and on the weekend (if the last set of pics are the ones youre referring to).

You got it. STC has a high concentration of great rides, same goes for Geneva.

I can't remember what day of the week it is (maybe Wednesday?) but once a week during the summer there's a muscle car gathering right on the Geneva/STC border on Route 38 in the Goody's parking lot in late afternoon/evening. At least there used to be. Not sure if it still happens.

Yep, its still there. I gave up going because the guy who runs the show is the biggest pickle surfer on earth. He refuses to let anything that is not American in the show.

I snapped this several weeks ago, from the Taco Bell down the street:

Oh, I know Goody's is still there (though I can't figure out why). I was wondering if the weekly car gathering was still there.
