Hello everyone, I just moved to Peoria to do industrial engineering work for CAT on third shift. I work at a computer all night and sleep from 8am-3 during the day. I'm 22 and just got a B.S. degree from a out of state university, know nobody in the entire state, and am pretty bored most of the time. I do like to go out for a drink but have nobody to drive me home (no drinking buddies or girlfriend anymore) so I never go out to the bars or clubs. I'm looking to meet new people and pick up a hobby, and I've decided that since I can't cook that a night time cooking course would be great!
The colleges I've seen in the area are ICC and Bradley; however, I'm not quite sure that ICC offers what I'm looking for, and Bradley would be kind of expensive. What options do I have? Thanks! (also, since part of the reason I'm looking into courses is to get a better social life, I've already looked into hanging out with co-workers. However, they are all twice my age with kids, while they are good people I don't me hanging out with any of them any time soon.) |
