The Greyhound Bus depot is in Peoria. The nearest train depot is Lincoln which is about 20 miles N of Springfield. It goes to Chi or St.L., but I don't know if it stops in Spfld or not. Peoria and Spfld both have planes that go to either, and Peoria has a dircect flight to Las Vegas.

There's a Greyhound depot in Spfld as well as an Amtrak station.
