Nope, nothing else in Illinois. With a total land area of 55,593 square miles, and Chicago being 227.2 square miles, nah, there's nothing outside of Chicago.

You should try Champaign-Urbana. Champaign-Urbana area is probably the most liberal and diverse place outside of the Chicago area.
