Works for me. The sticker shock on my current electric bill was enough to banish any lingering sympathy I might have had for Ameren.

Has anyone tried an alternate supplier, i'm going to check into it one of these days but it wouldn't surprize me that your monthly savings would be about $3.00 .

That's the problem, not competition for Ameren. But, there is a grass roots effort to band some of our local communities together and buy our own power. I see that Blagojevich has FINALLY decided to speak on the issue. I voted for him, twice but I think he has really dropped the ball on being there for his southern Illinois people are our needs.
