Just wondering where you live now? What exactly are you looking for? I just know how much the people of sugar grove would love to have a gourmet coffee shop. It was one of the things they requested in a recent survey!

I would think that Bloomington which has a lot of white collar business or Springfield, the state capital or even techy Champaign might fit the bill as it is the main campus of IU. On the other hand downtown Peoria M-F 7-6 might be just the ticket. After 5 the courthouse, lawyers, bankers, accontants all go home. It might be a small fortune to open a shop across from the courthouse on Main. As far as I know there is no coffee shop where you can grab a donut and a cup in the morning. If you are looking for an area that is more upscale look at Grand Shoppes.
Steve-O might have better idea than I do. Ask him. He knows a lot about Illinois

I always wondered why anyone wants to pay 3 bucks for a cup of Joe, when you can get it cheaper at 1.50 per cup regular Joe, what is the difference. I know some coffee shops do pretty darn good on a busy highway or intersection, but that would be because people are in a hury and probably don't mind paying 3 bucks for a cup of coffee. Anyone here who wants to pay more for coffee even if they think it tastes better, raise your hands!
