Looking to relocate from North Carolina to Mason County. Want to get back to something rural and country. Hubby and I are retired and just want a slower pace of life where we can enjoy our animals. Looking around Bethany, Oakley, Decatur. Comments, thoughts, suggestions?

So I guess you woulnt consider Springfield or Decatur as Central Illinois? I will admit while Springfield is bigger than Peoria, Peoria has more to do..
