Default Conservative cities near o'fallon?

My family may be relocating to IL for a job at Scott AFB. OK, I know that as a whole Illinois is a blue state. Are there any areas around O'fallon that are more conservative?

What you do not understand is that national elections do not reflect city politics. Genreally speaking small towns in Illinois tend to be far more conservative than Chicago - which gets far more attention than any other area of Illinois because of its 8+ million metro population.

If you do not want to live in a military town, you might like Belleville. It is a neat old Geman town with a lot of history and itis the St.Clair county seat. I lived there years ago and loved every minute of it. Depending what map you look at, Belleveille is 12-15 miles from the base.

More conservative than what? I doubt you'll find O'Fallon to be particularly liberal or progressive.
