Default unemployment

i filed an appeal over 3 weeks ago for unemployment in illinois, how much longer will i have to wait for my hearing date?

it depends on how many applicants that they get. In this economy, i would assume it could take up to one month long. you know how fast workers for the state are...

Yeah last summer it took 3 weeks before I heard back that my claim was approved. I imagine it is worse now.

i'd like to point out that unemployment in peoria county is now over 10%. that's not good, folks.

makes the "it's better here" campaign look more and more ridiculous by the day.

Generally, a claim takes 3 to 4 weeks.

However, an appeal ofter you have already lost takes 3 to 4 weeks.

It should be explained in your handbook how much time they give the employer to respond. The longer they take, the longer it will take.
