Default Bloomington-Normal Area?

Hey everyone! I was wondering what the best source would be to look for jobs out in Bloomington-Normal? Would I just be best looking on monster, career builder, etc? Any help would be great, thanks!

Not sure what kind of work you're looking for, but you'll have the best luck if you check several places. Monster and Career Builder are OK (although watch out for multi-level marketers trying sell own of their "be your own boss" schemes). Dice (Dice.com - Job Search for Technology Professionals) is better if you're looking for an IT job.

A few other sources to check out for B-N jobs:

The Pantagraph (B-N newspaper) classified ads: Pantagraph Classifieds | Central Illinois' Marketplace

CraigsList for B-N:
craigslist: bloomington-normal classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

The Peoria Journal Star classified ads (Peoria newspaper, sometimes B-N jobs are advertised here): Home - Peoria, IL - pjstar.com

A list (with links) of B-N's major employers is on the B-N Area Convention & Visitor's Bureau's site:
Bloomington-Normal Area Convention & Visitors Bureau - Community - Major Employers

Hope this helps

The Bloominton Pantagraph is the main newspaper

http://www.pantagraph.com/classified...ds/employment/

Bro-Men Hospital in Bloomington is hiring. Springfield is doing some hiring; it's aobut 60 miles from Bloomington. Peoria is also doing a little hiring. It is 35 miles.

Do keep this address because it is areal mess to find. A lot of the newspapers are tying their classified and Job ads with Yahoo. I found this quite by accidebt, You should know that aboutt 50% of the B-N employed are wither in the Insurance or real estate business.
