Default Looking for rental in Macomb

We have a college student headed to Macomb this fall - looking for a place to rent. Prefer 1 bedroom apartment but small house in safe area would be ok too. Quiet kid - not the party type - raised by a very strict mom

If you know of anything that will be available in August- please pm me with details.

Thanks!

Unless your kid is transferring in as a junior or senior, (s)he will be required to live on campus. In either case I'd get in contact with student housing. They will probably have a list of off-campus rentals as well.

WIU has a requirment for anyone with less than 60 hours to live on campus. Assuming your student qualifies to live off campus I would suggest looking at Campus Manor- I know they've been having specials like no deposit or something. Also worth looking into Aspen court apartments on Charles, Turnberry- further from campus but nice. Those would be my suggestions as someone who goes to WIU

Thanks for the suggestions. She's transferring with 70 hours, so does not need to stay on campus. I've contacted a local realtor and we're looking into Turnberry. Have decided she would really prefer to have a house so she can take her little dog (I want her to, too!). So far, I'm disappointed with the quality of rental houses, may just buy something instead.
