Default Illinois License Scam
There was a fellow recently in this forum who requested a scan of the back of an Illinois Drivers License. He's since been removed.

He said he was a graduate student in Computer Sciences in Germany. His thesis was to create a univeral ID/DL. His American English was flawless.

What I since learned is many drivers licenses have a bar code strip on the back that contains all the information on the front of the license and perhaps even more.

When I left Illinois almost 6 years ago the state drivers license did not have a bar code. Has that changed?

Here in South Carolina we do have a bar code.

Sounds like another great way for scammers to steal your information.
