Looking to move to byron, IL does anyone have info on plumbing jobs in the Byron area??

Byron is a rather small town. The major industry there is the nuclear plant. Ogle County is in somewhat of a growth mode, lots of new houses, so I would check with builders. Byron is close to Rockford. The metro area has about 250K people. As Chicago expands westward, the area will grow more, but it hasn't happened full tilt yet.

I live in Byron and I am not aware of any plumbing jobs here. I would suggest looking in the Rockford area for a job and live in Byron. My husband is a journeyman and works for a company in Machesney Park, but works in Chicago! Crazy I know but that's where the money is!! Cost of living is much better here than Chicago and with 3 daughters we don't have to pay for private school because the public school is good here.
