I've lived here most of my life..and have enjoyed it. some people have said to avoid it, I totally disagree, And whoever said it smells worse here, than Roxana is wrong! Roxana always smells worse, especially on 111 close to the entrance of the town , and the subdivision of Kendall Hills. They are the ones that are down wind of the refineary. I would highly recommend this town. It's got a small town feel, the people are nice,the crime is low. The schools are excellent, the elementary school, South Roxana is one of the best in the area in my opinion, with great teachers.
Some of the reasons we've stayed out here, are the locality, it's close to everything and compared to anywhere in the area the taxes are great!
