Best resources/places to look for jobs in Southern Illinois? (look for a job, community college)

Hi everyone, as you may know or have seen, I have posted alot of threads lately about Southern Illinois because I am moving there Aug 1, 2010. I'm trying to find some jobs to apply for but I am having some trouble. What are some good resources to look for a job down there? Newspaper, website, craigslist, etc...?

What jobs there are, will probably require knocking on doors and applying in person. Not many jobs are advertised around here, even in better economic times.

You could try pulling up different city websites to see if they have municipal gigs opening up on their employment pages. Also pull up a business directory online and search out the major companies that are closest to the place you're going to move too. I dont know how south you intend to move - but knowing whether the town is industrious or not is a big thing. Some southern towns have Prisons that you could work in - and there is SIUC & SIUE plus a handful of community colleges too.
