Default Fort Wayne in Oct/Nov

It's obvious that you have no taste buds, Fort Wayne has some of the best restaurants in the Midwest, but happily none for the stuffed shirts. This is a comfortable city to live, work and raise a family. The crime rate is low, housing is affordable, there are may not be a five star resturant here, but anyone who thinks that is needed, is way too upper crust for us that love the Midwest anyway.

In very arge cities, there might be a need for the rating system to insure against food poisoning, but here, there are only a few bad restaurants out of hundreds.

Default Restaurants

Have you forgotten about some of our city's award winning restaurants.

Trolley Bar - E. Dupont Rd (great menu and awesome salad bar, also a great place to stop and get a drink at the bar)

Cork and Cleaver - Washington Center (they have superb food and a fabulous salad bar)

Don Hall's Gas House - Spy Run Ave. (I think)

Eddie Merlot's - Jefferson Point

Don't forget your wallet! Expect to pay $20+ per plate at these places.

I always take out of towners to Coney Island and they all seem to love it. We travel quite a bit and I really think Ft. Wayne has some terrific restaurants. Besides the ones already mentioned, we like the Italian Connection, and we have several good Mexican restaurants too.
