Nashville Indiana? We're practically neighbors! The Blueberry fest is always a good time. It's a wee bit cooler today. Took the kids to see if they would fancy trying to ice skate ... I think they liked it because it's cool inside!

Nope, Nashville, TN for now. But both of my kids live in LaPorte County.

We went to the Blueberry Fest last year, and had a blast!

Good morning everyone!
It's 77 here in Noblesville. We live just 1/2 mile from Morse Park, so my hubby and I walked down there. The walk down was great, but coming back with the sun on our faces made us a little warm.
My husbands girls are visiting us this week from NY. (Poughkeepsie)They complained that it's too hot here. They're 16 and 19.
Boy is this going to be hard planning the week to do things. Hot, hot, hot!
Not to mention the beach area at Morse Park is so low. Scary as to what wants to start growing , esp. after hearing about Geist.
Peace,
Jayslace

I heard about the toxic blue algae in Geist. How silly is it that they powers that be are telling people to not swallow water if they ski ... just stay the heck out of the water! Too bad for all those cocktail cove people. Morse looks dry as a bone!

The state fair is going on J ... or is that too blase for the girls from Poughkeepsie?

Good morning! (cool and sunshine, love it!)
I agree with you about staying the heck out of the water!
I'm hoping that next year Morse will be looking better. When we first visited this area I was impressed, but I understand about the 'drought'.
This rain we got over the last week has made our crab grass grow, but my flowers look better.LOL
We didn't take the girls to the state fair. Trust me they would have been bored. I would have liked it, though!
We took them bowling ,minature golf,go carts, tea parlor, picnic at Morse, and other things. The best thing they liked was the arcade at the the golf place!
My boys, hubby and I had a good time though. I took pictures of everyone and never got as smile out of the girls.
They are just so used to 'other' things where they live. (Reading and malls )
Now I like that too, but I want to have fun! LOL
So, we took them to the Hamilton East library and Barnes and Noble. Needless to say, they were happy then!
My coffee cup is going empty, I better go fill er up!
Have a great day everyone!
Jayslace
