I mean, the weather is nice in the summer. Be prepared for highs in the 80s to 90s and humid can be a factor. Don't worry about what you wear, it is Auburn. Just your typical, average American city. It is pretty small, luckily Fort Wayne is nearby. DeKalb High School is a pretty big high school that serves the city of Auburn and some nearby communities and rural areas. Roughly 1,000 students.

Auburn isn't really a city except in terms of its government structure. But it's not big--only about 12,000 inhabitants. More like a big town. Never been there, but I hear it's fairly prosperous. Not diverse at all though. But Fort Wayne is close by and is much much more diverse.

Summers should be pleasant and sometimes hot and humid. Winters will often be very cold and maybe snowy. Since you will be there during the school year, you should probably bring clothes for cold or cooler weather.

Did not know you were from Vietnam . The winters aren't that bad, but it does get cold from about November - March. Snow isn't that frequent, but they can get a big storm every now and then. Last winter Fort Wayne was hit particularly hard, thanks to the La Nina effect. It isn't a city, just a big town. The city does benefit due to it's close proximity to Fort Wayne. Many people commute from Auburn to Fort Wayne on a daily basis for work via the I-69 corridor. Also, the northern suburbs of Fort Wayne are getting closer and closer to the city of Auburn so that does have an effect on affluency in the area as well. In addition, how could I forget? Auburn is known for the Kruse Auto Show, but has been renamed due to financial reasons. This is noticeable as soon as you enter the city via I-69. It is a huge, auto-auction park with historic cars and hot rods. This goes on for about one week in the month of August (???) correct me if I'm wrong. It draws thousands of people from all over.
