Default Borden, IN info.

Any info. on Borden would be great. Any info on the schools in Borden. I know they are small but are they good, as good, or better than say other Clark county schools or floyd. Looking for specifics.

TIA

NC

Here's a link to Borden's schools from the DOE:

I start with the DOE to get the numbers, then I dig for more information from there by going to websites of local newspapers and these kind of message boards after that.

I looked at the website and noticed that Borden has a higher percentage of free and reduced lunches.

I'm not quite sure what that means, I have an idea, but what qualifies one for this program. (Parent's income- what would be the amount?)

Would this have any impact or is this just another statistic?

Thanks.

My kids just brought the forms home after their first day of school. As I recall, it depends on how much income your family has to how many are in your family ... sorry, if I still had the forms, I'd be able to give you concrete numbers. I don't know if I'd judge poorly on a school based on that. Borden schools may be largely rural, so their incomes may not be as consistent as someone who works in an office or is a teacher.
