Default gm plant in fort wayne

hi guys.. im thinking about going to fortwayne to work at the gm plant and im wodering about the area. i have done some looking online ofcourse but that only gets me so far. wondering what would b the best area to live in that isint to far away from the plant and im real big on outdorrs stuff so im wodering if there are any good lakes and hiking trails close by... thanks!

The southwest side of FW (search zip 46804 or 46814) is great for proximity to the plant. The Roanoke area is good too. There are some nice lakes around (within an hours drive). I don't know much about hiking.

I always thought Huntington was a very nice town. Not sure about their schools though.
