Apts in Tipton,Kokomo or Westfield ? (Indianapolis: apartments, school, living in)

I am interviewing next week for an opening at a school in Tipton. If I get the job,I'd have to relocate from Cincinnati. I could use some help in finding an apt. I'd have to move quickly. It would be only for me.

Those are all three very different places.

Kokomo is a small industrial city in Northern Indiana. Tipton is a small town, and Westfield is a nicer suburb of Indianapolis. What are you looking for in a community?

I'd be inclined to say Westfield, because you can be closer to the amenities in Indianapolis.

Try Autumn Trace (Kokomo) 765-454-9900, Legends of Wild Cat Creek (Kokomo) 765-453-0300 just two of many nice complexes in Kokomo. While Westfield is closer to Indianapolis, Kokomo is only 50 minutes or so away from Indy and a much lower cost of living. We have a nice assortment of shopping,restaurants and parks in Kokomo. Easy commute to Tipton on US Highway 31 I drove it for about 9 years and never had a problem in winter. Good luck at the interview. Thanks for the help. Interview is Wed.the 11th. It is for an adminstrative position so I think I'll know something very quickly.

I would recommend Legends of Wild Cat Creek apartments in Kokomo or Walnut Creek Apts also located in Kokomo. Both are located in the south side of Howard County and are (IMHO) some of the nicest apartments in Kokomo.

Westfield is a nice area, but I think you will get more bang for your buck living in Kokomo. As stated above, Indy is less than an hour south of Kokomo which can make for a fun weekend of shopping and entertainment.
