LOL! Yeah I was around my mom last week and I guess instead of coming home with a little accent I came home with some of her sayings. I used to hate it when she'd say things like that. Course they are funny and catch people off guard.

Perhaps it was a way of life with rural Hoosiers? My greats, grands & parents buttered their corn this way. Now we use a corn butterer from Pampered Chef to do the deed since most in my family doesn't like bread.
