Agree on the douche and loser.
I can't give you any more reputation.

The "fact" remains that Hostess executives voted themselves HUGE pay raises while knowing that the company was having extreme financial difficulties, and then blamed the problems on its working-class employees, who were then given pay and pension cuts.

You really are an inexperienced kid. You'll change your tune when you finally leave your sheltered life.

Just Winston's excuse for constantly changing political parties.

And how many of those liberals are willing to work for say $75K/year running a nationwide (maybe even international?) company?

Here are the wages and raises of some of the big wigs at Hostess:

Brian Driscoll, CEO, around $750,000 to $2,550,000.
Gary Wandschneider, EVP, $500,000 to $900,000.
John Stewart, EVP, $400,000 to $700,000.
David Loeser, EVP, $375,000 to $656,256.
Kent Magill, EVP, $375,000 to $656,256.
Richard Seban, EVP, $375,000 to $656,256.
John Akeson, SVP, $300,000 to $480,000.
Steven Birgfeld, SVP, $240,000 to $360,000.
Martha Ross, SVP, $240,000 to $360,000.
Rob Kissick, SVP, $182,000 to $273,008.

Yea, folks making a lot of money. The raises are outrageous for sure. Now lets look at the wages of the bakery union:

Top Ten Highest Paid Leaders
Name Title Total Compensation
FRANK HURT PRESIDENT $262,654.00
DAVID DURKEE SECRETARY-TREASURER $244,396.00
JOSEPH THIBODEAU EXEC VICE PRESIDENT $218,989.00
STEVE BERTELLI VICE PRESIDENT $198,062.00
MICHAEL KONESKO VICE PRESIDENT $184,297.00
ARTHUR MONTMINY VICE PRESIDENT $175,505.00
ANTHONY JOHNSON VICE PRESIDENT $167,433.00
ROBERT OAKLEY VICE PRESIDENT $167,265.00
RANDY ROARK VICE PRESIDENT $166,849.00
SEAN KELLY VICE PRESIDENT $161,789.00

Yes, CEO pay has their problems, but I like how the union leaders are always taking care of themselves as well, while blasting executive pay. What person needs to make over a quarter of a million dollars a year? Maybe if one lives in NYC, San Fran, but then I don't see any law requiring any union to be based in a higher cost-of-living city or state. I wonder if union dues went down when wages went down the first time around?

I didn't. I'm referring to those BRG would label as "liberal."

Kind of reminds me of politicians...

Seriously? The bakery union president got paid 262K ... you have to go down 8 people at Hostess to get to that salary.

Nice try ... The Hostess execs are despicable. They work for 1 company and raid the workers pensions and want them to take a paycut, again ... while the bakery union folks work for many companies and their workers, over 80,000 workers ...

Give me a break.
