I'll ask my Dad when I get home tonight, he's lived in that area all his life. As far as I know, North Miami has always been the school there. Not sure if Macy, Denver, Deedsville, Chili, Mexico or any of those towns had a school.

Default Butler school

I went to Butler school from 1st-5th grade from 1963-1968. The principal Mrs. Burke was also my first grade teacher. She retired and then we had Mr. Oliver for a principal. It is located near the Mississinewa Reservoir. It is in the Maconaquah school district of Miami county. We lived in Loree near Bunker Hill and the school was NE from our home about 12 miles or so. I was born in Peru, Indiana which is around 7 miles or so from Loree, I believe. They built all the newer schools close to Loree later.

I also went to Butler from around 1963 to 1968. My three brothers also went there. as did my father. Two oldest brothers and father went there from grade school to high school graduation. Sch building is no longer there. I had Mrs Burke in first grade as well as Mr Oliver in the fifth grade.

I lived on the property of Butler school by Mississinewa Reservoir from 1980 to 1981. My dad says he played school there. The school has been reclaimed.
