Default yes there are intentional communities!

you should probably look at listings on Intentional Communities Web Site (ecovillages, community, communes, cohousing, coops, sustainable living...). i am near michigan city and am trying to start a small rural community called LITTLE WHITE PINES that is listed there, along with a number of other indiana communities.i am also cohost of a group on care2 called COMMUNITIES IRL. if you would like to find out more about intentional communities, please come by and visit us and join the group if you are interested.

I do the same thing when they put out there fresh produce from their immaculate gardens. Same honor system.

I guess I brought up the Amish because you specifically mentioned dependence on carbon fuel sources ... they sure aren't!!!

Hey Mr. Stevens! It's Shanara

I seem to really throw people off with my signature. Chris Stevens is a character in Northern Exposure ...

Everyone that I have talked to that lives at Padanaram absolutely loves it. I myself would love to visit there if ever given the chance. I have spoken to many people that have there own oppinions on the community. I know for myself, I have been totally fasinated with Padanaram after hearing about it, several years ago. If they ever have a Open House again, I know I will be the first in line to go. I am sorry for people that have to make negitive comments based on what others tell them. Go an find out yourself!!!!
