We are also looking in Jeffersonville. I hear IN is cheaper than KY. Do you have kids? My sis went to HS there & didn't much care for it. I currently live in VA & we are hoping to move to KY or IN soon.

I have enjoyed using rent.com and apartmentkfinder.com
You can put in the amenities that you neeed such as eccepts pets & zip code & radius and off you go! I have found several in the Louisville area that look great! Hope that helps!!

Shay, Floyd County has a better school district for kids. The schools arund Floyds Knobs that feed into Floyd Central are the best in Southern Indiana, and comprable to may of the better schools in metro Louisville. Jeffersonville is nice though, and offers a small town feel with bigger city amenities. The area around Veterans Parkway is quite nice, and some affordable subdivisions would be Armstrong Farm. The nice thing about S. Indiana is you can get a lot more land and more country feel but still be downtown faster than anyone from Louisville's popular east suburbs! Also, Floyds Knobs has beautiful panoramic views of the city around South Skylinbe Drive at the top of the hills.

Apartmentfinder finds mostly large, suburban complexes. Try craigslist for a little variety. If you MUST have an apartment complex, and being young, I would recommend Camden Oxmoor, Mallard Crossing, or Waterford Place. All three are known for having lots of young professionals and each has a pool with a community center where it is easy to meet friends, especially in the summer.
