Dr. Robert D. Charbonneau is on a distinguished road
Smile Do we have any other scientists on board?

I'm an astrophysicist turning chemist as well. I am the fellow who made the theoretical discovery of the second layer beneath the photosphere of the sun - Sol. This was confirmed through Project SOHO in 2003 to 2005 through multiple data gathering orbits of the sun. Currently I am essaying to begin a color industry in Anderson. It would be interesting to discuss some of the issues that surround and affect the scientifics and other sophists about our community.

Another project I'm currently involved in is R&D of a "designer" spacesuit I call a PEPPsuit that will allow a versatile cosmetic protective suit that can be worn as an under or outer garment, but will protect the wearer from bio-chemical agents, personal assault/abduction and some protection against nuclear fallout. Knowing that Indy is gearing the National Guard for nuclear disaster now, what would be your opinions about not only producing these in Anderson as a source of commerce, but actually wearing such protection? Would you be so bold as to wear it as an outer garment, or would you prefer to conseal it beneath, per se, your executive suit?

I've spoke briefly to the bulding department here in Anderson and have made such a grand suggestion as to take up where Buckminster Fuller left off in wanting to enshroud Manhatten, N.Y. in a geodesic dome, only take the concept to a county (or even tri-county) level by enclosing at least Madison County in an aluminum, vault/compression loaded dome. Surprisingly enough, the concept was received with interest by the building department. I stated this would be a project needing billions to complete. (There's the PEPPsuit industry with 6,000,000,000 potential customers...)

The dome would make farming for us here in Madison County totally controllable, year round. It would keep CFC's, Methane, CO2, et hoc genus omne, from ever reaching the planet's atmosphere.

There are a couple visions I have for Madison County (and Delaware and Randolph...). Maybe this thread could entertain ideas from some of our local thinkers.

Maybe this is a place to talk about science in lieu of sports... Hmmmm?
