Indianapolis or Carmel. Both are great towns. Indy has grown by leaps and bounds and is amazingly clean. People in the area seem really down to earth and friendly, and the city itself has an amazing amount to do for it being a smaller midwestern city.

Carmel is another town I love. It is extremely rich and elegant. Homes are not piled on top of eachother as they are in some of Chicago or New York's elegant burbs and the homes come at a reasonable price unlike the other two cities I just named. Many areas of Carmel offer great views from housing areas by offering views of lakes, ponds, streams, and wooded areas and there are numerous parks located within the city.

Nashville, Indiana in Brown County, Indiana
Lots of cabins, wood-burning fireplaces, near Bloomington, small, clean, proud, honest people, library, shops, personality, near Brown County State Park, hills, peace.

really, how can you beat the beauty of Gary? The mixture of brick blood and mortar. Broken glass, syringes and 40oz. bottles. The alluring odor of gunpowder and urine! really.

Michigan City, because it is near where I grew up. I love the shore. I have lived in West Lafayette and Richmond and want to be nearer where I could go to places I love.

Madison isn't on that list. That would be my first choice.

I voted for Columbus.

Nashville in Brown County is a beautiful place.
My favorite town though would be Shipshewana. I love the Amish community and the food is great. The flea market and auction is great. There are so many quaint little shops. Yoder's Meat/Cheese store is tops.
