Default What Areas of Southern IN Flood?

Hello
I was wondernig what areas of Southern IN (like near Evansville) flood.
How often do they flood? How serious is the flooding?

I don't think flooding is any more of a problem in Southern Indiana than elsewhere in the midwest. Some of the river bottom areas along the major rivers will flood, but levees and such protect most of the cities such as Evansville.

After the 1937 floods, levees and dams were built along the Ohio and Mississippi. Since that time, I am not aware of any substantial flooding anywhere along the Ohio.
