move to Arizona ... lots of cheap, nice renatal apartmnts and homes. We left IN due to the cost of living ... get a lot more here in AZ

Thanks for all the replies. I called some previous No's and asked your very good questions ImGibby, but they all said No. I even asked if they'd take into account that I'm just one person with no kids and just a few other bills including utilities, and they still said No. Most of them cut me off mid-speech! Maybe home buying is an option... I'll look into the assistance programs you and theycallmeoj told me about. I'm going to keep looking for a temporary apartment though, maybe in the near-ish areas of MI this time. I will definitely move to another state as soon as my lease is up if I can afford the rent there or I qualify for the homebuyer's assistance programs. Thanks everyone!

Really? Shoot I'll buy a house for you to rent up there if you are gonna pay rent up front...i don't know why they would say no to that...I would love to have a tennant pay me a lump sum...not sure i understand their thought process???? Very interesting.....
