The town is too small to warrant a Cheesecake Factory. I like Olive Garden, but we go to TGI more. My husband BTW would like to vote ten fold for the Dunkin Doughnuts.

We're moving to Columbus next May/June {as soon after school lets out that we can find a rental home, they seem to be scarce in Columbus these days} and while I love Dunkin Doughnuts, I'd have to vote for TGI Fridays out of the choices listed in the poll, and Chik-A-Fil-A out of the others mentioned.

when is culvers grand opening DG? I'd love to be there for that if I could Culvers is hubby & my favorite date-night, and news that there was going to be one in Columbus and we wouldn't have to hike back up 65 to Indy and could in fact likely bike/walk to one right in town thrills us both
I worked for Meijer for almost two years and cant' say I'm overly impressed by the changes they've made at least at the west-side Indy stores since I quit. I haven't been in Southport in 3 years though so I could be judging the whole pie on one slice, kwim?

I believe Culver's is opening up November 2nd ... yahoo!!! It's my favorite slow/fast food.
The only reason I want a Meijer in Columbus is because there are 2 Super Wal-Marts, which I think is insane. If a Meijer opened up, it would put one of those 2 W-stores out of business ... get us a little variety! Plus, Meijer is the only place that makes the fresh polish sausage that we like. I won't have to schlep up to Southport to stock up. I used to frequent the Meijer stores in Noblesville and on 96th Street in Fishers and I never had any problems.

I don't live there nor do I travel there much. In fact I've only visted once. I travel a good bit and all 3 all good but Olive Garden stays truest to form on taste and quality from those choices. Johnny Carinos I've never had a good experience at. I really do not remember what is there now but both Chic-fil-A and Zaxby's are good Chif-fil-A being the overall winner of getting what expect no matter what location you visit. I really miss Cracker Barrel out here in Cali but Indi has some good and at times better alternatives and nothing here compares. Dukin Donuts is certainly a good idea. I assume from the choices given though you prefer to stay with more of family dinner. Chic-fil-A also has the Dwarf House & Truett's Grill which offer a larger menu and an real wait staff as well as the regular hurried customer section with drive-thru. Something I've only seen in the Cali area is Wood Ranch and it blows Outback out of the race for everything a restuarant offers. Best steak at a chain I've ever eaten.

hubby asked me today to keep the culvers thing for when he comes home since it's 'our place' so I'm going to do that. I am going to be in and out of the area over the next few weeks thought scouting jobs and what not. hubby says if we can swing it at the end of the semester and transition the oldest and her IEP without a problem, as well as have jobs waiting on us so we can pay bills, he's good with that.
