Default From B-town to Indy

I came form the southside of Bloomington, IN. I was living off E. Winslow and S. Walnut street. Bloomington is a nice small town like Jefferson City, MO (where I grew up). But jobs are scarce. I am looking to move to Indy. Are there more jobs in accounting up there? Which side of Indianaplois should I avoid? Which side of town is cheap and safe and not to far from work? I visited Indy a couple times. It's a lot like a Big Bloomington -- same Indiana weather, same atmosphere. As of now, I live in San Antonio, TX... God have mercy. I can't wait to come back to Indiana!

There are plenty of accounting jobs in Indy with the Defense Finance Center on the east side. Avoid Fishers, Carmel and Avon unless you enjoy sitting in traffic forever. The soutwest side is nice with an easy commute.

If you live on my side of Fishers, east of 69, the finance center at Fort Ben is a quick hop skip and a jump on side roads. I can get there in 15-20 minutes.

what's wrong with living in San Antonio? You have the River Walk, a lot of restaurants and the Alamo.

Remember the Alamo!!
