Default Moving from Austin, Texas to Bloomington, Indiana....HELP!

Hi. I'm moving from Austin to Bloomington in July to go to Indiana University. I've lived in Texas all of my life and have never really faced a cold climate. I'm looking for an apartment or house to rent. Does anyone know of any apartment/house locaters for Bloomington? Also are there any tips for living there i.e. where to live or not live, the entertainment scene?

I don't have a lot of time right now to completely answer your questions regarding entertainment, etc. except to say there is a lively music scene, a comedy club, all of the entertainment at the School of Music, sports, etc.

For rentals I would recommend going to HeraldTimesOnline.com - Bloomington, Indiana newspaper or Rent Bloomington - Bloomington's Most Effective Way to Find Rentals. ( I am not connected with either of these sites. They are solely informational so I hope it's not construed as advertising. If they disappear, PM me and I'll resend.)

Default Moving Pets Across Country

I have 2 dogs a Boston Terrier, and a Mix Breed, which are both fairly young. Is there any tips for moving them cross country?

You could post this in the pets forum, or do a search for threads that may cover the issue.
