Default Is Boonville Okay?

We have messed up. Around four years ago, we moved to East TN because of work. Had we known how bad the area was, I would have found another job back home. We are orginally from the KY side of the border and wish to move back to the Evansville/Owensboro area. Several years back, we lived in Princeton, IN. The people in Princeton would not hire you, for a good job, if you weren't born and raised there. Are Boonville and Evansville the same way? How welcoming is the area?

I'd say Boonville would be difficult to find a great paying job. It is almost like a mini-city with a Wal-Mart, some restaurants, etc. Boonville can be tight knit, but most are friendly. Better jobs are in Evansville, but living in the surrounding Evansville area, anywhere in Posey county, Warrick county, Vanderburgh county isn't too bad. I personally wouldn't live in Boonville, but I know people who love it there. Good luck with your move!

Lots of job openings now in Evansville and not so many in Boonville. Matalove is right, Boonville is a lot less as far as residency, but remember gas prices if you find an Evansville job..(and you will).
